Micron Technology Surpasses $100 Billion in DRAM Revenue as Fiscal Q4 Results Exceed Expectations

Micron Technology, a leading provider of advanced semiconductor solutions, has announced exceptional fiscal fourth quarter results that exceeded the high end of their guidance. The company's revenue, gross margin, and earnings per share (EPS) all set new records, with DRAM revenue surpassing $100 billion for the first time in its history.

According to Sanjay Mehrotra, Chairman and CEO of Micron Technology, the company delivered an exceptional fiscal Q4 with significant records in revenue, gross margin, and EPS. 'I'm thankful for the above and beyond efforts of our employees around the world that made these extraordinary results possible,' he said.

The company's strong execution has been recognized through increased fiscal 2026 incentive compensation for every global team member, reinforcing its performance-driven culture and aligning team member success with long-term shareholder value creation. As Mehrotra noted, 'We expect fiscal 2027 to be even better' due to industry demand strengthening since the last earnings call.

Micron Technology's success can be attributed to its strategic importance in the memory market, where AI-driven demand for complex products across the memory hierarchy is creating opportunities for differentiation. The company's technology leadership, strong product portfolio, and manufacturing excellence position it well to capitalize on these opportunities.

The development of Micron's next-generation DRAM and NAND technology nodes is progressing well, with volume production expected in the second half of calendar 2027. The company is leveraging these technology nodes and advanced packaging capabilities to deliver leadership products across the memory hierarchy, such as industry-leading HBM, high-capacity SOCAMM, and data center SSD products.

In addition to its technological advancements, Micron Technology is investing in global manufacturing expansions to address customer demand growth through the end of this decade and beyond. The company is providing long-term U.S.-based supply assurance for DDR, LPDRAM, and HBM products through its fabs in Virginia, Idaho, and New York.

The celebration of a concrete pour milestone for Micron's first New York fab marks an important step towards achieving this goal, with initial wafer output expected in calendar 2030. As the demand for advanced semiconductor solutions continues to grow, Micron Technology is well-positioned to meet the needs of its customers across various markets, including data center, PC, mobile, automotive, aerospace and defense, medical, humanoid robotics, and other industrial and consumer markets.
