MindWalk Reports: Strong Q1 Performance with ReefIQ Launch and Strategic Partnerships

MindWalk Holdings, a leading bio-native AI drug discovery and development company, reported a strong first quarter (Q1) fiscal year 2027 performance, driven by the launch of its proprietary data platform, ReefIQ, and strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.

During the Q1 earnings call on September 14, 2026, Dr. Jennifer Bath, President and Chief Executive Officer of MindWalk Holdings, highlighted the company's progress toward becoming a leading bio-native AI drug discovery and development company.

The launch of ReefIQ in June marked a significant milestone for MindWalk, with the platform designed to transform complex, unstructured biological data into structured, biologically meaningful representations that enable AI models to deliver deeper insights for pharmaceutical partners. The commercial model behind ReefIQ is built on multi-year recurring revenue relationships that can scale as clients expand their use of the platform.

Dr. Bath emphasized that MindWalk's trusted partnership with large pharmaceutical companies has given them a real advantage in driving adoption, with multiple discussions underway for potential enterprise deployments of ReefIQ. While no specific partners or contract values were announced, the level of engagement reinforces the company's conviction in the commercial opportunity.

The opportunities for ReefIQ are substantially larger than MindWalk's historical LensAI recurring revenue agreements, and investors should not use prior contracts as a benchmark for the size or scope of these relationships. The company has built a leading wet lab discovery franchise, with clients including 19 of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies.

MindWalk is also reshaping its commercial relationships with pharmaceutical partners, increasingly structuring new engagements as broader platform partnerships where the company participates in the economics of the assets they help create. This structure aligns MindWalk's incentives with those of their partners and has been well received by clients.

Additionally, MindWalk reached a clear infrastructure milestone with its engineering partner, AMD and Vultr, validating a production deployment of OpenFold3 on AMD Instinct MI325X GPUs. The first results are being published this week, demonstrating the company's commitment to making AI-driven drug discovery accessible to all.
