MNTN Fires Up Growth Engines in Q2 2026: Strong Revenue and EBITDA Growth Driven by Performance TV and AI-Powered Products

MNTN, a leading marketing technology company, delivered a strong second quarter with revenue of $82.5 million, representing 21% year-over-year growth. The company's adjusted EBITDA of $21.5 million, representing 48% year-over-year growth, also exceeded expectations and finished at the high end of guidance.

According to Mark Douglas, CEO of MNTN, the company's strategy revolves around Performance TV, which enables businesses without access to television to reach specific consumers across premium streaming inventory. This approach has been successful, with performance TV moving from an early adopter market towards a mainstream part of the marketing mix. To capitalize on this trend, MNTN has strengthened its sales organization and increased investment in marketing.

The company's product suite has also seen significant updates, with new versions of its Performance TV platform designed for small businesses (MNTN Express), mid-market customers, and upper mid-market advertisers. This tiered approach aims to cater to different business sizes' needs, offering distinct features and complexity levels.

MNTN Express, specifically designed for small businesses, has garnered impressive traction since its April 1st launch, with over 7,000 signups in the first 120 days. Interestingly, hundreds of these signups have converted into paying customers, demonstrating promising momentum. Although revenue contribution from MNTN Express is currently low compared to the company's overall business, it is growing quickly and expected to become a meaningful contributor to growth in 2027.

The company has also invested heavily in AI-powered products, including its agentic AI technology for mid-size customers, which offers enhanced automation and performance. Additionally, QuickFrame AI has seen significant adoption, with over 37,000 signups in Q2 and a total of over 73,000 signups year-to-date. This technology is instrumental in enabling the SMB opportunity in connected TV, lowering creative barriers, increasing launch rates, and making it easier for businesses to create television-ready advertising.

MNTN's focus on premium inventory has also yielded impressive results, with customers now able to insert their ads alongside major sports leagues such as FIFA World Cup games, March Madness, MLB, NBA, NHL, and soon the NFL. This expanded access to super-premium content is driving customer engagement and revenue growth for the company.

As MNTN continues to execute its strategy, it remains focused on three key priorities: expanding its products and investing in AI, broadening access to premium television, and strengthening its go-to-market organization. With a strong product suite, a robust sales organization, and a commitment to innovation, MNTN is well-positioned for continued growth and success."
