NETGEAR Delivers Solid Q2 Performance, Demonstrating Continued Momentum in Enterprise Business

NETGEAR, a leading provider of software-differentiated enterprise solutions, has reported another solid quarter, demonstrating the continued momentum behind its transformation to being an enterprise-led business delivering profitable growth and expanding long-term shareholder value.

In its Q2 2026 financial results conference call, NETGEAR's CEO, C.J. Prober, highlighted the company's disciplined execution, strong profitability, and clear progress on strategic priorities. The quarter saw top and bottom-line performance above the high end of guidance range, with Enterprise delivering a strong quarter with revenue increasing 7.7% year-over-year.

Enterprise now represents more than half of NETGEAR's total revenue and approximately 69% of its gross profit, demonstrating the increasingly important role this business plays in the company's growth and financial performance. Non-GAAP gross margin reached an all-time high of 54.1%, while non-GAAP contribution margin increased 660 basis points year-over-year to 25.9%, its highest level in more than seven years.

The company also highlighted the progress made in APAC, despite ongoing go-to-market transformation headwinds, which moderated growth during the quarter. However, NETGEAR believes that the changes underway can position APAC to become its fastest-growing region.

NETGEAR's Consumer business continues to harvest its service provider business and optimize the core consumer business for growth profit, despite challenging supply environment constraints. The company grew its overall annual recurring revenue to $42 million, representing a 15% year-over-year increase.

The stronger mix of business and margin expansion from Enterprise, combined with disciplined execution in Consumer, allowed NETGEAR to move from a non-GAAP operating loss last year to operating profit in Q2 of this year, while significantly expanding its EPS as well. This significant progress has led the company to change its Standard Industrial Classification code to align with its competition in the enterprise segment.

NETGEAR's CEO, C.J. Prober, praised the Enterprise and Consumer teams for their relentless focus on delivering against commitments, stating that the company is thrilled with the tangible progress of its longer-term transformation. When he joined NETGEAR two and a half years ago, it was clear that there was an opportunity to unlock significant shareholder value by bringing a stronger focus to its Enterprise business.

The company's CFO, Bryan Murray, will cover the Q2 results in more detail, providing further insights into the financial performance of the quarter. With NETGEAR's continued momentum and progress towards its strategic goals, investors are likely eager to learn more about the company's plans for future growth and expansion.
