Nutanix Surpasses Revenue Guidance in Q4 2026 with Strong Performance Across Business
Nutanix, a leading provider of enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions, has reported a strong finish to its fiscal 2026 year with the company exceeding all guided metrics for the quarter. In a conference call on August 26th, Nutanix's CEO, Rajiv Ramaswami, and CFO, Rukmini Sivaraman, presented the company's fourth-quarter financial results.
The Q4 fiscal 2026 results saw strong uptake of Nutanix's external storage offerings and Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), which helped mitigate the impact of ongoing supply chain challenges on customers. The company also witnessed good performance from its portfolio products, with notable strength in Kubernetes and database management offerings.
The full-year results for fiscal 2026 demonstrated solid top-line performance, with revenue reaching $2.85 billion, a 12% year-over-year increase. Additionally, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) grew by 16%, reaching $2.55 billion. The company added over 3,000 new customers across all tiers, including the Global 2000, showcasing strong new logo performance.
Nutanix also generated free cash flow of $841 million, yielding a free cash flow margin of 29%. This achievement marks the third consecutive year in which Nutanix has delivered a Rule of 40 score above 40. The company's progress on product and partnership fronts was highlighted by the delivery of Nutanix Agentic AI, a full-stack software solution designed to optimize performance and security for AI applications.
The partnership with AMD to deploy Nutanix Agentic AI on AMD's GPU solutions complements existing integrations with NVIDIA GPUs. This strategic agreement provides customers with maximum flexibility for both GPU and CPU-based solutions. Furthermore, the company announced new capabilities for its Agentic AI solution to support a new generation of AI cloud providers, known as NeoClouds.
Nutanix also highlighted its partnership with ChronoScale, which represents early success in this market. More recently, the company has announced important new capabilities for its Agentic AI solution, including Nutanix Agent Gateway and a Model Context Protocol server for the Nutanix Cloud Platform. These advancements aim to provide unified governance and cost control over AI spend as well as secure natural language Agentic AI automation in hybrid multicloud environments.
