NVIDIA Smashes Q2 2027 Records with Stunning Growth and Record-Breaking Revenue

NVIDIA, the pioneering leader in artificial intelligence (AI) computing technologies, has just announced its outstanding second quarter earnings for fiscal year 2027. In a spectacular display of growth and revenue dominance, NVIDIA more than doubled its total revenue from last year, reaching an impressive $96 billion.

This remarkable achievement is the culmination of years of strategic investments in cutting-edge technology and supply chain development. As Jensen Huang, President and Chief Executive Officer, proudly declared during the earnings call, "We delivered another outstanding quarter with record revenue, operating income, and EPS." This testament to NVIDIA's success is a direct result of its relentless pursuit of innovation and customer satisfaction.

The company's data center revenue saw an impressive 18% quarterly increase, totaling $89 billion. This growth was driven by robust contributions from both hyperscale and ACIE (Artificial Intelligence Everywhere) sub-segments. Hyperscale revenue specifically grew 13% sequentially, with a significant boost from Blackwell, a testament to the growing demand for NVIDIA's AI computing solutions.

The partnership between NVIDIA and AWS has been particularly fruitful, with AWS deploying an additional 2 million GPUs starting this quarter through fiscal year 2029. This strategic alliance will enable Amazon to adopt NVIDIA's full physical AI stack, including Omniverse, Cosmos, Isaac, and Jetson, to power its warehouse robots. The sheer scale of this collaboration underscores the boundless potential for growth in the realm of AI computing.

NVIDIA's ACIE revenue also experienced a remarkable 25% sequential increase and a staggering 138% year-over-year jump, reaching $40 billion. This surge was fueled by the demand for neocloud capacity from enterprises, AI startups, and sovereigns, as well as hyperscalers purchasing capacity to supplement their own build-outs.

The company's unique capabilities, including its architecture running every model and growing share in closed and open model adoption, have proven to be key drivers of growth. As Colette Kress, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, highlighted, "Our economic value generated for our hyperscale, neocloud, and AI lab partners keeps rising." This strategic approach has enabled NVIDIA to establish itself as a leader in the AI computing landscape.

Looking ahead, NVIDIA is poised for continued growth, with expectations of approximately 70% revenue expansion in fiscal year 2028. While supply constraints may pose challenges, the company's robust pipeline and expanding customer base bode well for its future success. As NVIDIA continues to push the boundaries of AI computing, one thing is clear: this industry leader will remain at the forefront of innovation and growth.
