OwlTing Enters New Era: From Infrastructure Build-Out to Global Enterprise Settlement Network

The second quarter of 2026 marks a pivotal moment for OBOOK Holdings, operating under the OwlTing Group brand. In a recent conference call, Darren Wang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the company's significant progress in transitioning from infrastructure build-out to commercialization.

Wang emphasized that the first half of 2026 largely reflected the cost base and infrastructure required to prepare the platform for commercialization. However, more recent operating data reveal a meaningfully different level of activity, showcasing the increasing utilization of OwlPay's infrastructure by enterprise customers. This development is expected to drive production conversion, transaction growth, and ultimately, economic benefits such as increased gross profit and operating leverage.

According to Wang, OwlPay has crossed an important inflection point, entering a new stage where scale becomes increasingly important. The company's recent operating data demonstrate a shift from merely processing transactions to enabling real payment flows across more markets, corridors becoming active, and deepening capabilities in banking, liquidity, routing, and local settlement.

Henry Fan, Investor Relations Director, noted that the first half financial results reflect the early stage of commercialization, while recent operating data show a different level of activity. Fan highlighted three key areas for investors to focus on: production conversion, utilizations, and economics. He stated that these metrics are crucial in evaluating OwlTing's progress as it moves from commercialized towards scaled operations.

Winnie Lin, Chief Financial Officer, will review the company's first half financial results and discuss how the financial model is expected to evolve with transaction volume scaling. The conference call also touched on long-term objectives, including a 2030 revenue target and a long-term margin objective, which should not be interpreted as near-term financial guidance.

The transition from infrastructure build-out to commercialization marks a significant milestone for OwlTing. As the company enters this new era, investors can expect increased emphasis on metrics that demonstrate production conversion, transaction growth, and economic benefits. With a focus on scale, OwlPay is poised to become a global enterprise settlement network, offering real payment flows across more markets and deepening capabilities in key areas.
