Palantir Soars with 96% Year-Over-Year Revenue Growth, Redefining Industry with Sovereign AI Revolution

Palantir's Q3 2026 earnings call has left investors and analysts buzzing with excitement as the company reported a staggering 96% year-over-year revenue growth. This phenomenal increase, coupled with a 20% sequential growth, marks the highest growth rates ever delivered by Palantir as a public company.

At the heart of this extraordinary performance lies the Sovereign AI revolution, which Palantir has been spearheading since its inception. The company's Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Legal Officer, Ryan Taylor, emphasized that despite being at the beginning of this transformative movement, Palantir is already witnessing its profound impact on the market size.

One of the most striking aspects of Palantir's Q3 results is the surge in revenue from its top 20 customers. The average trailing 12-month revenue from these clients increased by a staggering 76% year-over-year, reaching $146 million per customer. This exponential growth is a testament to the company's ability to foster deep and meaningful relationships with its customers.

The U.S. market has proven to be particularly receptive to Palantir's offerings, with the company raking in $1.9 billion in revenue – a 119% year-over-year increase and 23% sequential growth. This represents an impressive 84% of the company's total revenue. The U.S. commercial business has emerged as a key driver of this success, growing by 148% year-over-year and 29% sequentially, surpassing Palantir's U.S. government business revenue for the first time.

The average trailing 12-month revenue per customer in U.S. commercial grew by an impressive 88% year-over-year and 20% sequentially. This indicates a strong demand from American businesses for Palantir's Sovereign AI solutions, which enable them to protect what differentiates their operations while retaining the ability to adapt and scale as needed.

Palantir's customers are increasingly embracing the concept of sovereignty in AI, recognizing its potential to revolutionize decision-making processes. The COO of Optum Serve highlighted the importance of sovereignty, stating that it "doesn't mean we have to build everything ourselves... What it does mean is protecting what differentiates us while retaining the ability to evolve, adapt, and scale our solutions as our customers' needs change."

Other notable mentions include L3Harris, which fine-tuned an open-source model on its own data and saw a sovereign model outperform a frontier model by a significant margin within 48 hours, achieving cost savings of 95%. NVIDIA reported that it was able to get its smallest, most efficient model to outperform its largest model after evaluating and post-training its open models.

These real-world examples illustrate the transformative power of Palantir's Sovereign AI revolution. As Ryan Taylor noted, "Our customers are choosing Palantir and our Sovereign AI to transform their organizations at a furious pace."
