Rocky Brands Accelerates Momentum with 12% Sales Increase in Q2 2026
Rocky Brands, a leading outdoor and work footwear company, reported a strong second quarter of 2026, with sales increasing by 12% compared to the same period last year. This momentum represents an acceleration from the high single-digit growth seen in the previous two quarters.
According to Jason Brooks, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rocky Brands, the broad-based strength across the company's portfolio was a key factor contributing to this success. Several brands within the portfolio delivered solid double-digit growth, led by XTRATUF, followed closely by Georgia, Rocky, and Lehigh B2B safety shoes.
"We're encouraged by the strong performance of our brands, particularly XTRATUF, which continues to be a standout performer," Brooks stated during the conference call. "Our ability to drive growth across multiple channels, including direct-to-consumer sales and wholesale, has been crucial in fueling this momentum."
XTRATUF's success was highlighted by its strong performance across all channels, with wholesale sales increasing significantly year-over-year. The brand also saw continued growth in e-commerce and marketplace sales, driven by the popularity of new product lines such as the 15-inch Legacy boot and ankle deck boot styles.
"XTRATUF is not just a marine-focused brand anymore," Brooks noted. "We're seeing consumers adopt it for everyday use, which is expanding our reach beyond its traditional roots."
Muck's U.S. business also maintained momentum during the second quarter, with sales growth driven by strong performance in field and key accounts. The new Rainscape collection, along with other popular styles such as the Chicken Boot and original ankle boot, contributed to this success.
Rocky Brands' financials for Q2 2026 showed a notable positive impact from a tariff refund receivable, which helped boost gross margins and profitability. The company plans to reinvest a portion of these funds into the business while also paying down debt.
