Rubrik Accelerates Growth, Exceeds Guidance for 10th Consecutive Quarter

Rubrik, a leading provider of cloud data management and security solutions, today announced its second quarter fiscal year 2027 results, marking the company's 10th consecutive quarter of outperformance as a public company.

During the Q2 conference call, Bipul Sinha, CEO, Chairman, and Co-founder of Rubrik, highlighted the company's outstanding performance, with subscription ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) reaching $1.66 billion, growing 33% year over year. This achievement is a testament to the strength of Rubrik's platform and the continued durability of demand for its agentic cyber resilience.

Notably, net new subscription ARR growth accelerated this quarter, demonstrating the company's ability to drive growth while maintaining profitability. Subscription revenue grew 37% year over year, with subscription NRR (Net New Revenue) remaining strong at over 119%. The number of customers with $100,000 or more in subscription ARR reached 3,084, growing 23% year-over-year.

Rubrik's focus on innovation and investment in emerging technologies, such as generative and agentic AI, has positioned the company for future success. As Sinha noted, "AI is the most transformative technology of our lifetime," and Rubrik is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. The company's participation in Anthropic's Project Glasswing further underscores its commitment to addressing the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

The Q2 results also reflect Rubrik's ability to drive expanding margins and strong free cash flow generation, with $66 million generated this quarter. As a result, the company is raising its outlook for the year, reflecting confidence in its growth trajectory and market position.
