Samsara Delivers Durable Growth, Surpasses $2.1 Billion in ARR
Samsara, a leading provider of operational data and intelligence, has delivered another quarter of durable growth, exceeding expectations with its Q2 2027 results.
The company's Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) has crossed the $2.1 billion mark, growing 30% year-over-year, driven by $134 million net new ARR. Samsara's largest customers continue to drive its growth, with those valued at over $100,000 now representing $1.3 billion in ARR, a 38% increase from last year.
Notably, the company has added 242 customers with $100,000 or more in ARR and 20 customers with $1 million or more in ARR, both quarterly records. Large customer wins in the quarter include APi Group, Sonepar, and one of the world's largest e-commerce companies.
The sheer scale of Samsara's data asset is also impressive, with the company now collecting over 30 trillion data points annually on its platform, up more than 40% year-over-year. This data spans vehicles, powered and unpowered equipment, job sites, and frontline workers, providing a unique view into various industries, geographies, and customer sizes.
At its annual customer conference, Beyond, Samsara launched several new products, including the Tracking Label, 360 Camera, Waste Intelligence, Ground Intelligence, and agents for safety, maintenance, and dispatch. The company is seeing good momentum from Beyond, with customer adoption of some of its latest AI features up more than four times in the last two months.
Customer success stories like that of one of the largest cities in the U.S. demonstrate how Samsara's platform can digitize and streamline complex physical operations, providing a strong ROI and widening the path to future expansions. The company's device footprint accelerates this expansion, with multiple products deploying faster without downtime for asset replacement.
These achievements solidify Samsara's position as the go-to platform for large and complex physical operations, allowing customers to digitize their vehicles, equipment, sites, and workers at scale and reliability. As these organizations continue to digitize, Samsara is poised to capitalize on this trend, driving further growth and innovation in the process."
