So-Young Achieves Record-Breaking Quarter with 130% Year-over-Year Revenue Growth in Aesthetic Treatment Business
So-Young, a leading aesthetic treatment company, has announced record-breaking results for its second quarter of 2026. During the earnings call held on August 31st, the company's CEO, Mr. Xing Jin, highlighted the impressive growth of their business.
In Q2 2026, So-Young's revenue from its aesthetic treatment business reached RMB 330 million, a staggering 130% increase year-over-year. This remarkable growth beat the upper end of guidance by about 5%, leading to a quarterly record for group revenue, which grew 33% year-over-year to around RMB 510 million.
The company's operational efficiency also improved significantly, resulting in a narrowing of net loss attributable to So-Young by 37% year-over-year to RMB 22.7 million. This achievement is a testament to the effectiveness of their dual engine approach, which combines scale and efficiency with ever-improving medical capabilities.
One key business development in Q2 was the expansion of So-Young Youth Clinic, which saw a healthy pace of growth while improving operating quality. By the end of June, the clinic had expanded into 18 cities with a total of 65 centers, making it more accessible to consumers and reinforcing brand awareness.
The treatment volume also experienced significant growth, with verified visits exceeding 165,000 in Q2, up 145% year-over-year. Verified aesthetic treatments performed were above 362,000, a 134% increase from the same period last year. The company's user base also grew, with active users reaching over 250,000 by the end of June.
In addition to these achievements, So-Young's care center profitability improved as they refined operating workflows and heightened resource coordination. As a result, the number of profitable centers rose to 47, with 51 generating positive operating cash flow.
The company's focus on supply chain robustness and product lineup enrichment was also highlighted during the earnings call. The launch of Miracle Collagen, a joint product with Jinbo Bio-Pharmaceutical, received a warm reception, with over 66,000 units sold to date. WeaveCol, another recently introduced product, adopts self-cross-linking technology for a gel texture without a cross-linking agent.
So-Young's partnership with Jinbo goes beyond traditional buyer and vendor relationships, embracing a model of co-creation, case development, and long-term value alignment. This collaboration will extend to more domestic and international medical device and treatment partners, enabling faster technology adoption from R&D to real-world use.
