SoundHound AI Shatters Revenue Records, Emerges as Conversational AI Leader
In its latest earnings conference call, SoundHound AI reported an outstanding second quarter, with revenue reaching a record $62 million. This represents a 45% year-over-year increase and a 40% sequential boost, underscoring the company's growing momentum in the conversational and agentic AI market.
Keyvan Mohajer, CEO and co-founder of SoundHound AI, attributed this success to the company's self-learning agentic AI platform, OASYS. Launched in May 2026, OASYS has been winning demos, RFPs, pilots, and production contracts at a remarkable pace.
According to Mohajer, OASYS demos have been "absolutely delightful" for both new and existing customers, leading to exceptional renewal rates and win rates. In fact, the company recently signed an 8-figure commitment just 90 days after the initial demo, a testament to its standout technology.
The enterprise market for conversational and agentic AI is growing exponentially, with Gartner projecting that software spending in this space will reach nearly $1 trillion by 2030. SoundHound AI has positioned itself as a clear leader in this market, emerging from a fragmented landscape and driving significant momentum among enterprise buyers.
SoundHound's excellence in conversational AI for enterprise has also been validated by analyst firm Gartner, which recently named the company as a leader in their Magic Quadrant for conversational AI platforms. This high-profile recognition is expected to drive even greater market traction and further solidify SoundHound's position as a market leader.
Looking ahead, SoundHound AI plans to accelerate its leadership position with the acquisition of LivePerson, which is expected to close by the end of this year. With 25 Fortune 100 brands already using its platform across various verticals, SoundHound AI is poised for further growth and expansion in the conversational AI market.
