SS&C Technologies Fires on All Cylinders, Reports Strong Q3 2026 Earnings
SS&C Technologies, a leading provider of financial services technology and software solutions, has delivered another impressive quarter, with adjusted revenues growing by 7.8% to $1.691 billion in the third quarter of 2026.
"We have momentum to finish the year strong," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SS&C Technologies, during a recent conference call. "Our third quarter results were adjusted revenues of $1.691 billion, up 7.8%, and adjusted diluted earnings per share of $1.78 at 14.8% increase."
The company's strong performance is a testament to its ability to adapt to changing market conditions and capitalize on emerging trends in the financial services industry. SS&C Technologies has been at the forefront of the digital transformation of financial services, with its next-generation solutions built on two key platforms: AI Gateway, an AI governance platform, and WorkHQ, an award-winning agentic orchestration platform.
At its annual client conference, SS&C Deliver, which brought together over 1,000 leaders from financial services and healthcare clients in Orlando last month, the company unveiled a portfolio of next-generation solutions that enable clients to put AI agents to work on their most complex, highly regulated workflows. These agents work securely with governance built in from day one.
The adoption of agentic AI is gaining traction quickly, as evidenced by SS&C Technologies' own Customer Zero program, which has driven innovation and efficiency across all operations. To date, over 900 agentic workflows, 200 AI agents, and more than 60 digital workers have been built in the WorkHQ development environment as business units explore dozens of use cases.
SS&C Technologies' strong cash flow generation has provided it with real flexibility to allocate capital to various initiatives. The company returned $225 million to shareholders during the quarter, which included 1.9 million shares repurchased for $154.8 million and $70.5 million in dividends. It also increased its common stock dividend by 11.1% to $1.20 per share annually.
"Our business keeps generating strong, recurring free cash flow," said Bill Stone. "And that gives us real flexibility in how we put capital to work. We can raise our dividend, keep buying back shares, pay down debt, and pursue high-quality acquisitions all at once. We do not have to choose."
The company's M&A strategy is focused on identifying the right deals aggressively while staying disciplined on price. Financial services technology and services M&A continue to command high valuations, making SS&C Technologies' own stock one of the most attractive investments it can make.
SS&C Technologies' record adjusted consolidated EBITDA of $674.8 million, up 9%, and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 39.9%, a 40 basis point improvement, demonstrate the company's ability to deliver strong financial performance while investing in its future growth drivers.
