Super Hi International Sizzles in Q2 2026: Revenue and Profit Soar Amid Strategic Initiatives
Super Hi International has delivered a scorching performance in the second quarter of 2026, with revenue and profit skyrocketing to new heights. According to CEO Li Yu, the company's strategic investments in employees and customers have borne fruit, translating into improved operating improvements.
In Q2, Haidilao restaurants served a whopping 8.1 million customer visits, a 5.2% increase from last year. This surge in traffic led to a corresponding boost in table turnover rates, with overall tables turning an impressive 3.9 times per day. Same-store turnover also saw a 0.1 turn per day increase, up from the previous year.
The company's diversification efforts paid off as revenue from delivery and other businesses doubled during the quarter. This growth helped drive total revenue to USD 219 million, a 10% year-over-year increase. Perhaps more impressively, operating profit surged by an astonishing 118.9%, with the operating profit margin increasing by 1.8 percentage points.
This remarkable profit growth has significantly outpaced revenue expansion, reflecting the company's ability to capitalize on its earlier investments and unlock operational leverage. CEO Li Yu highlighted several key initiatives that contributed to this success, including enhanced operational management of Haidilao restaurants.
"We maintained management flexibility with each region autonomously adjusting operating strategies based on local business conditions," explained Li Yu. "At the same time, we further strengthened the professionalism and support capabilities of our headquarter platform by introducing digital tools and new technologies."
The company's efforts to optimize products and menus also yielded positive results. By integrating local consumer dietary habits and consumption trends, Super Hi International was able to drive menu optimization and new product development. For instance, in Southeast Asia, the introduction of local flavors such as lemongrass, satay, and basil helped enhance cross-selling opportunities.
The company's membership and marketing initiatives also showed promise, with the number of overseas members reaching 9.246 million by the end of June. Super Hi International continued to improve customer management loops around sustained marketing, precise traffic acquisition, and member operations.
As Super Hi International looks ahead to future quarters, investors and analysts will be keenly watching for further evidence of these strategic initiatives' impact on the company's performance. With its impressive Q2 results, it's clear that Super Hi International is well-positioned to capitalize on growing demand for dining experiences in Asia and beyond."
