Victoria's Secret & Company Posts Strong Q2 2027 Earnings: A Year of Unstoppable Growth

The latest earnings call from Victoria's Secret & Company has brought exciting news for the company, as they continue to push forward with their Path to Potential strategy. The second quarter of 2027 marked a strong period for the company, with net sales increasing by 10% year over year.

Chief Executive Officer Hillary Super took to the conference call to discuss the company's performance, highlighting that this was another consecutive quarter of positive comps. Super noted that while the numbers are impressive, it's what lies beneath them that truly showcases the progress being made. She emphasized the growth in attracting more customers, winning market share, and strengthening the value proposition for both Victoria's Secret and PINK.

One of the key areas highlighted by Super was the bra business, which grew in the mid-teens. This success can be attributed to strength in core franchises as well as new innovation, contributing to both VS and PINK's performance. Another notable area was PINK, which delivered another quarter of growth with strength in bras, panties, and apparel.

The company also saw continued momentum in their international business, with the customer file growing mid-single digits versus last year, marking their fourth consecutive quarter of growth. Growth spanned both brands and channels as well as all age and income groups, led by strong new customer acquisition and improving retention.

Super highlighted that the strength in the quarter was broad-based, with continued growth across Victoria's Secret, PINK, and Beauty, and across channels. The company also delivered continued momentum in their international business.

The Path to Potential strategy is proving successful for Victoria's Secret & Company, as they continue to make tangible progress towards building Victoria's Secret and PINK into two distinct world-class growth brands supported by a powerhouse beauty business. This quarter saw the company continuing to make meaningful progress, with the strength in the quarter being broad-based.

Super emphasized that the company is not standing still and is continuing to learn and adjust quickly. The semiannual sale, for example, has been reduced to focus more on regular price selling, allowing customers to buy new seasonal fashion directly during the sales period instead of waiting for a promotion. This approach was seen as successful in July when growth returned to double digits.

The company is entering Q3 with a larger customer file and strong brand relevance. The Path to Potential strategy is working, and Victoria's Secret & Company is looking forward to further growth.
