Viemed Healthcare Sets New Records Across the Board as Ventilation Business Continues to Thrive

VIemed Healthcare, a leading provider of home-based respiratory care services, has reported impressive results for the second quarter of 2026. According to Casey Hoyt, Chief Executive Officer, the company's Q2 performance was marked by renewed growth in ventilation, continued expansion across other service lines, and record quarterly revenue.

The highest active ventilator patient count in Viemed's history, set new records in other service lines, and generated record quarterly revenue. Ventilation remains the clinical and economic foundation for the company, with 546 new ventilator patients added during the quarter and a total of 12,635 active patients as of June 30th.

The results reinforce what Viemed has communicated through the implementation of the new CMS National Coverage Determination home mechanical ventilation. The underlying clinical need and referral demand remain substantial, and the company's teams have adapted to the new qualification, documentation, and utilization standards.

Higher setup activity brought more patients into the base, and compliance initiatives helped more patients remain on therapy. Usage compliance improved by more than 25% compared with last June, indicating a strong understanding of the required documentation and utilization expectations associated with therapy.

The addressable clinical need for at-home ventilation remains much larger than the population receiving treatment today. Growth during the quarter extended well beyond ventilation, with record results in PAP setups, sleep therapy patients increasing 44% from the prior year, and resupply patients served increasing 47% year-over-year.

Maternal health also reached a new quarterly high for breast pump deliveries, with activity through legacy Viemed markets increasing approximately 9% sequentially. The early expansion illustrates the strategy behind the Lehan acquisition, which has expanded Viemed's reach into new markets and service lines.

As Casey Hoyt noted, 'I want to begin by recognizing the people responsible for our impressive Q2 results. As of June 30th, we've got 1,453 employees that made up the Viemed team... Each day, our folks care for our patients, support our referral partners, and improve how we operate.'

With these strong results in hand, Viemed Healthcare is poised to continue its growth trajectory, driven by its commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory care services to those who need them most."
