Not only that, but VinFast also achieved remarkable success with its electric two-wheeler segment, delivering a record-breaking 286,000 units. This marks a significant jump of 100% quarter-over-quarter and 311% year-over-year, demonstrating the company's growing presence in the global market.
Looking at the first half of 2026, VinFast has cumulatively delivered over 128,662 electric four-wheelers and 429,175 electric two-wheelers. The total cumulative number of deliveries now stands at a staggering 500,000 four-wheelers and one million two-wheelers, solidifying VinFast's position as a leading player in the electric smart mobility space.
The company attributes its success to strategic investments in products, manufacturing capabilities, technology, and ecosystem development. As CEO Pham Nhat Quan Anh stated during the conference call, "Today's progress validates investment in our products, manufacturing capabilities, technology, and ecosystem."
Looking ahead, VinFast aims to further accelerate growth through initiatives such as ramping up production at international factories, expanding its product portfolio, advancing autonomous driving capabilities, and exploring new markets. The company has already begun executing these plans, with the recent launch of the VF Wild REEV being a notable milestone.
The VF Wild is VinFast's first range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) and represents a significant innovation in the company's product lineup. With an impressive driving range of over 1,000 kilometers, this new model addresses long-distance capability while remaining fundamentally electric in its performance. The VF Wild is now available in Vietnam and is expected to be introduced in international markets next year.
VinFast operates in 15 countries globally and continues to evaluate additional opportunities for growth. As the company prioritizes sustainable volume growth, improved operating leverage, and profitability, it remains focused on strengthening its after-sales network and service quality to cater to its expanding customer base.
