Vivo Delivers Strong Q2 2026 Performance: Solid Execution and Diversified Ecosystem Drive Growth

Vivo, the leading telecommunications company, has reported a strong second quarter (Q2) 2026 performance, with solid execution and a diversified ecosystem driving growth across various segments. The company's CEO, Christian Gebara, highlighted the positive trends in mobile and fiber services during the recent conference call.

In mobile, Vivo added postpaid customers at a rate of 73.2 million, up 6.9% year-over-year, demonstrating sustained commercial momentum. The company's fiber segment also saw significant growth, with homes connected reaching 8.2 million, an increase of 11.3% year-over-year. This expansion was supported by the attractiveness of Vivo's value proposition and customers' recognition of the quality and differentiation delivered.

Financially, total revenue increased above inflation once again, up 7.6% year-over-year, while Mobile service revenues advanced 6.6%, and fixed revenues grew 6%. Profitability continued to outpace revenue growth, with EBITDA advancing 10.9% year-over-year and a margin of 41.8%. The company's operating cash flow totaled BRL 8.2 billion in the first half of the year, while net income rose 17.9% to BRL 2.8 billion.

Vivo's diversified ecosystem also played a significant role in driving growth across connectivity, digital services, and the sale of handsets and electronics. Total revenues increased 7.6% year-over-year in the quarter, reflecting balanced contributions across the top line. The handsets and electronic segment soared 27.8% year-over-year, marking its highest annual evolution in five years.

The company's commercial initiatives and growing relevance as a destination for customer technology products contributed to this performance. As Vivo's ecosystem expands, the quality and predictability of revenues keep improving, with recurring revenues attaining 84.8% of service revenues. This trend reinforces the resilience of Vivo's business model and the sustainability of its trajectory.

Vivo's mobile operation stands out through its ability to combine customer growth, monetization, and retention. The total mobile base increased 2.6% year-over-year, with postpaid access rising 7.3%, reaching 52.4 million customers. Commercial activity remains solid, with postpaid net additions rising 14.
