Zoom Accelerates Enterprise Growth with AI-Powered Workplace

Zoom, the leading video conferencing and collaboration platform, has reported a strong second quarter for fiscal year 2027, driven by its focus on elevating Workplace with AI. According to Eric Yuan, founder and CEO of Zoom, total revenue grew 4.9%, with enterprise revenue increasing 7.8% - its strongest rate in three years.

This growth was fueled by Zoom's success in bringing its AI-first system of action vision to life, helping customers reduce costs and create greater business value. The company's AI-powered Workplace platform continues to enhance user experience across the communication and collaboration lifecycle, with licensed monthly active users of its AI features growing 125% year-over-year.

Zoom's wins in Q2 were impressive, with one of the largest U.S. tech companies renewing Zoom Workplace in a deal that expanded its annual recurring revenue (ARR) by $1.9 million. This was driven by deep employee appreciation for the Zoom Meetings and Rooms Experience, as well as Zoom's AI vision and ability to integrate with Google Workspace.

Zoom Phone continues to demonstrate its value both as a natural add-on to Zoom Workplace and increasingly as a driver of broader platform adoption. A major U.S. wealth manager upgraded to Zoom Workplace Enterprise Premier, including a wall-to-wall rollout of Zoom Phone, replacing multiple vendors.

In another notable deal, QXO, a large North American distributor and installer of building products, chose Zoom Phone company-wide for roughly 8,000 employees alongside Zoom Contact Center to unify their unified communications as a service (UCaaS) and contact center as a service (CCaaS) systems. This deal also integrated with Microsoft Teams and automatically drove CRM updates from live interactions.

Zoom's employee experience offering within its system of action is also making significant progress, with a leading U.S. insurer expanding into Workvivo - one of the company's largest-ever deals - while Workvivo itself surpassed $100 million in ARR. Zoom has launched Workvivo HQ, an AI-native digital headquarters built on Zoom's AI technology, to bring communication, knowledge, and action together for every employee.

A global luxury retail brand selected Workvivo HQ as their employee experience platform and will deploy Workvivo HQ Agent to give thousands of frontline workers faster access to answers from their policies and databases. This is just the latest example of Zoom's success in helping businesses transform their workplace experiences with AI-powered solutions.
