Accenture Smashes Q4 Records with 7% Revenue Growth, Strong Margin Expansion, and Strategic Acquisitions
Accenture has announced its fourth quarter 2026 financial results, showcasing a robust performance across various key metrics. The company's revenue reached $18.7 billion, marking a 7% increase in local currency above the top end of their guided range. This significant growth was driven by broad-based expansion across markets, industries, and both types of work.
Accenture's strong competitive position was further underscored by its ability to capture $22.2 billion worth of bookings in Q4, with 37 clients securing deals valued at over $100 million. The company's focus on being relevant where its clients are spending helped it deliver this impressive level of bookings despite a stable demand environment.
"Our focus on being relevant where our clients are spending helped us capture this strong level of bookings, even though the overall demand environment, including discretionary spending, did not meaningfully change," said Julie Sweet, Accenture's Chair and Chief Executive Officer. "We're pleased with our performance in Q4 and believe it demonstrates again our strong competitive position."
In addition to its revenue growth, Accenture also delivered strong margin expansion, earnings per share (EPS) growth, and free cash flow while continuing to invest in its business and people. The company's strategic acquisitions played a significant role in this success, with $1.9 billion invested in Q4 alone.
Accenture made two notable acquisitions in Q4 – Ookla, a global leader in network intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and customer experience analytics, and Whalar, a leading creator and social agency recognized for its creative excellence and ability to deliver measurable business outcomes. These deals expand Accenture's capabilities into new growth areas with non-FTE commercial models.
"We continue to use our strong balance sheet and acquisition experience as competitive advantages to accelerate our strategy and ultimately fuel organic growth," said Julie Sweet. "These acquisitions enable us to scale in high-growth areas, deepen our industry and functional capabilities, and expand into new growth areas."
Accenture's Q4 performance demonstrates its continued commitment to innovation and strategic growth, positioning the company for future success.
