Kanzhun Limited Roars Ahead in Q2 2026 with Record-Breaking Growth and User Engagement

Beijing-based Kanzhun Limited, the parent company of leading job search platform BOSS Zhipin, has reported an impressive set of financial results for the second quarter of 2026. In a recent conference call, the company's Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Mr. Jonathan Peng Zhao, presented the highlights of its performance, which have exceeded expectations.

The company generated revenue of RMB 1.44 billion in Q2 2026, representing a 14% year-on-year increase. More impressively, adjusted income from operations, excluding share-based compensation expenses, reached RMB 1.05 billion, up 19% from the same period last year. The adjusted operating margin also saw a significant improvement, rising to 43.8%, a 1.9 percentage point gain over the same quarter in 2025.

One of the most striking aspects of Kanzhun's Q2 performance is its remarkable user growth. The number of total paying enterprise customers reached 7.2 million as of June 30th, an increase of 11% year-on-year. This translates to a substantial expansion in the company's customer base and underscores its position as a leading player in China's job search market.

Mr. Zhao also highlighted several key operating metrics that have reached record highs during Q2. Average monthly active users (MAU) exceeded 17 million, while average matches per job seeker increased both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter. Furthermore, user outcomes also showed significant improvement, reflecting the effectiveness of Kanzhun's model in driving relevant connections between recruiters and job seekers.

The company's growth strategy, which focuses on user expansion, has been instrumental in its success. Mr. Zhao emphasized that Kanzhun's core driver is user growth, driven by the size of the market, the company's model, and its strength and user needs. With over 300 million users served and approximately 22 million employers onboarded, there remains considerable room for growth.

Moreover, the low-cost mobile recommendation and direct chat model pioneered by Kanzhun has enabled tens of millions of companies to transition from traditional recruitment methods to digital online platforms. This shift towards mobile Internet recruitment has digitalized and mobilized the recruitment process on a large scale, with many enterprise users experiencing their first-time online recruitment through BOSS Zhipin.

As Kanzhun continues to drive user growth, it is also leveraging its strength and user needs to continuously produce digital oil for its recommendation engine. With the support of AI, the company has seen not only improved efficiency in its engine but also a data flywheel effect that accelerates AI development. This synergy between human and artificial intelligence will likely remain a key factor in Kanzhun's future success.
