Netskope Accelerates Growth with Strong Q1 Results
Netskope, a leading provider of cloud security and AI security solutions, has announced its impressive first quarter 2027 financial results. According to Netskope CEO and Co-Founder Sanjay Beri, the company's results reflect its commitment to providing best-in-class networking, security, analytics, and AI with its unified Netskope One platform built for the cloud and AI era. This platform, combined with the high-performance NewEdge private cloud, differentiates Netskope from competitors and sets it up well for a massive $336 billion market opportunity.
Netskope's first quarter results show ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) growing 29% year-over-year to $845 million, with net new ARR reaching $34 million. The company also achieved revenue growth of 28% year-over-year to $202 million, ahead of its guidance. This strong financial performance reflects Netskope's continued success in landing larger deals and selling the breadth of its Netskope One platform.
Sanjay Beri highlighted several key operating metrics that stood out during the quarter, including exceptionally strong growth in ARR from new logos (approximately 60% versus Q1 last year) and consistently high gross retention rates above the mid-nineties. The number of customers spending more than $100,000 in ARR grew 23% year-over-year, with 57% of customers now using four or more Netskope One products.
The company's commitment to hiring sales reps and scaling its go-to-market engine is also a key aspect of its strategy. Today, approximately half of Netskope's sales reps are either newly hired or still ramping, positioning the company for future growth.
