Pacasmayo Shines Bright in Q2 2026: Record Sales and Profitability with a Focus on Sustainability and Innovation
Cementos Pacasmayo has made a remarkable showing in its second quarter 2026 earnings, boasting a strong 15.5% increase in sales volume for cement, concrete, and precast. This impressive performance was driven by robust demand in the self-construction segment and higher sales of bagged cement.
The company's revenues grew by 15.4%, reaching PEN 558.9 million, while consolidated EBITDA reached a record-breaking PEN 174.8 million, marking a 34.3% increase from Q2 2025. Notably, the EBITDA margin expanded by 4.4 percentage points to 31.3%. This surge in profitability can be attributed to operational efficiencies and a strategic shift towards higher-margin concrete solutions.
Mr. Humberto Nadal, Chief Executive Officer of Pacasmayo, emphasized that this peak in profitability is the result of operational efficiencies, solid commercial strategy, and a focus on sustainability and innovation. The company continues to lead the industry through specialized solutions, as highlighted by its recent official verification for organizational carbon footprint from ICONTEC Perú, demonstrating real emission reductions across operations.
Pacasmayo's commitment to innovation is evident in several key projects. The company successfully secured a tax benefit following approval of its technology and innovation project, reinforcing its long-term competitiveness and R&D efforts. Additionally, Pacasmayo has demonstrated technical expertise in shaping high-impact infrastructure across the country, such as prefabricating foundations at over 5,000 meters above sea level for the Yanacocha Sulfuros project.
The company's recognition extends beyond financial achievements, as it ranked among the top six most profitable CEOs in Peru according to Semana Económica. Mr. Nadal stressed that this achievement belongs entirely to Pacasmayo's team, emphasizing the importance of daily effort and commitment from every single person at Cementos Pacasmayo.
Ms. Eli Hayashi, Chief Financial Officer, also highlighted the company's strong revenue growth, reaching PEN 558.9 million in Q2 2026, with a cumulative revenue for the first six months of PEN 1,114.5 million – an impressive 13.3% increase year-over-year.
Pacasmayo's remarkable performance in Q2 2026 has solidified its position as a leading player in the Peruvian cement market. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, record sales and profitability are testaments to the company's commitment to delivering exceptional results and driving growth."
