Valmont Industries Soars to New Heights in Q2 2026 with Strong Sales and Earnings Growth

Valmont Industries, a leading global provider of infrastructure and agriculture equipment solutions, has reported another impressive quarter in its second-quarter 2026 earnings conference call. With net sales increasing by 6.5%, adjusted operating margins expanding 130 basis points, and adjusted earnings per share growing by 25.8%, the company has delivered a strong performance that reflects the dedication of its global team and the execution of its strategy.

According to Avner Applbaum, President and Chief Executive Officer, Valmont's infrastructure business led the way in Q2, with notable growth in North America Utility and Coatings. "We're investing where we see the greatest opportunities to create value, especially in Utility, where capacity expansion and throughput improvements are supporting profitable growth," Applbaum said during the call.

Commercial execution, pricing discipline, and ongoing investments in capacity and throughput have continued to translate durable customer demand into profitable growth for Valmont's infrastructure business. Meanwhile, the company's Agriculture business performed well despite challenging market conditions, with disciplined pricing and cost management driving another quarter of operating margin improvement.

"Our results demonstrate that the investments we are making, the operational improvements we're implementing, and our capital allocation strategy are driving stronger financial performance and positioning the business for sustainable, profitable growth," Applbaum stated during the call.

Valmont's investment in its Utility business has paid off, with North America Utility experiencing 34% growth in Q2. The company is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for grid modernization, power demand, data centers, and electrification, driven by a robust market environment.

The favorable outlook for Valmont's infrastructure businesses is being driven by investment in grid modernization, power demand, data centers, and electrification. Demand continues to be supported by these investments, which are expected to drive a multi-year investment cycle.

As the company looks to build on its Q2 success, it remains committed to delivering value through differentiated customer support, industry-leading innovation, and continued improvements in system throughput. With its strong sales and earnings growth, Valmont Industries is well-positioned for sustainable, profitable growth in the years to come.
